Vietnamese-American community in U.S. and in Texas
According to U.S. Census Bureau, there were approximately 1.6 million Vietnamese-American people currently living in the United States in 2010. Texas has the second largest Vietnamese community in the United States which comprises 250,000 Vietnamese. The DFW Metroplex alone has over 120,000 Vietnamese. This does not include a vast number of Chinese Vietnamese-Americans in the area. These numbers are growing exponentially every year.
