Executive Management Background


Tom Le, General Manager

Mr. Tom Le is the President/CEO and Co-Founder of LURACO Technologies, Inc. which develops new technologies for the military and defense industry. Under his leadership, the company received many awards and recognitions from the U.S. Pan Asian-American Chamber of Commerce, the SMU Cox School of Business, U.S. Small Business Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce.

Personally, Mr. Tom Le is recognized by the US Pan Asian-American Chamber of Commerce for Outstanding Community Inclusiveness Award. Cambridge Who’s Who selected him as the Executive of the Year for Technology & Manufacturing. Before LURACO, Mr. Le was a Senior Radio Frequency (RF) Design Engineer for Nokia R&D in Irving, TX, and a Math Professor in Vietnam. Mr. Le has earned a Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), and holds a double major bachelor’s degree in Math and Music from Hue University, Vietnam. With a background of an educator, he is committed to promote lifelong learning for himself and for others in his business approach.

Kevin Le

Kevin Le, Ph.D., General Manager

Dr. Kevin Le is a co-founder of LURACO Technologies, Inc.. With an extensive experience in high-tech research and development ranging from optical and MEMS sensors, sensor interrogation techniques, condition based monitoring, data acquisition, analog mixed signal circuit designs, RFID to programmable electronics; including FPGAs and embedded systems, Dr. Le is currently the Chief Technology Officer at LURACO where he leads the engineering team in research and development of both commercial and military products

Before LURACO, Dr. Le worked for Bell-Labs Lucent Technologies, Alcatel, Williams-Pyro, Inc. in research and development. As a Research Scientist, he also served as the Principal Investigator for several advanced technology projects funded by the U.S Army and Missile Defense Agency. Dr. Le has authored and co-authored more than 20 technical journals and conferences. He is also a peer reviewer for “Pure and Applied Optics Journals,” and “International Journal of Optomechatronics.” Dr. Kevin Le is an avid educator as well. Despite his busy schedule, he always makes time for his Electrical Engineering students at University of Texas at Arlington as an adjunct professor.
